SAIL awards grants to teachers district-wide who give their students an educational boost that the syllabus simply can’t address– special programs and expanded after-school activities that support academics or feed students’ enthusiasm for their world.

The goal: to attract students to the schools as their main social setting, encouraging their participation in a broad variety of activities to feed their curiosity, their interests and their energies.

SAIL is an investment in a total education for our students.

 

SAIL is a corporation established under the laws of the State of New York as an educational foundation.  It is federally approved as a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization under IRS rule 501(c)(3). 

The Sayville Advocacy for Initiatives in Learning is the community – stepping up to support our schools in a new way.

The mission: Through aggressive fundraising, private donations, endowments and corporate sponsorships, the SAIL foundation aims to supplement classroom education with opportunities – to enhance academics, to encourage exploration of life, to enrich student experiences.
